The Festival Theatre is an open air venue set in a magical location of the award winning gardens of Hever Castle in Kent. It offers a wide selection of shows with something to suit all ages and most tastes, and so has established a following of many thousands over the past 34 years.
The stage is fully covered, and the seating tiered, with the vast majority of seats also under cover. So it really is the best of both worlds, the chance to enjoy a spectacular outdoor setting and first rate show, with protection from the elements and an intimacy not normally associated with outdoor events.
Audience are able to enter the grounds from 6.30pm for evening performances, where they may bring a picnic, eat in the Castle Restaurant or simply wander through the magnificent gardens. For matinee performances, the audience may remain in the gardens after the performance, until they close usually at 6pm.
